How to choose a size
1. Measure your head circumference
Classic tailor's tape measure. Always measure around the head above the ears, where you want to wear the hat - around the widest part of the head. Repeat the measurement to be sure. Do not tighten the tape measure too much.
2. Choosing the size of hats, caps and berets
The measured size in whole numbers corresponds to the size of the hat (e.g. a measured size of 57 cm corresponds to a size 57). If you fall between two numbers when measuring (e.g. 58.5 cm), always order a larger hat (in our case, size 59). A larger hat size can easily be adjusted to a smaller one by inserting a thin strip of foam or similar material under the sweatband. We will be happy to provide you with a reducing sweatband free of charge in our store upon request or we will include it in your order.
To determine the correct size of knitted headwear such as hats and berets, please use the size conversion table below. The head circumference is the determining factor. For hats, use the conversion to combined sizes XS, S, M, L, XL. For beret sizes, use the conversion in inches 9" - 12.5".
3. Universal size hats
If the product size is listed as universal, the hat is equipped with an elastic sweatband and is suitable for head sizes from 56cm to 60cm. For combined sizes S, M, L, XL, find the correct hat size in the size chart provided..
4. Universal sizes of caps and berets
If knitted headwear is listed as size N or ONE SIZE, it is a universal size that best fits sizes 55 - 60.
