Yarn
Tonak produce standard yarns with carded technology (wool system) in yarn finenesses from 84 tex to 500 tex. The yarns can then be cut to a fineness of 4-5 tex.
We use natural fibres (sheep’s wool, rabbit hair, angora, cashmere, etc.) and man-made fibres (polyamide, polyester, viscose, aramid). We produce both undyed and dyed materials. Carded yarns are used in the clothing industry (e.g. women’s coats), but also in the production of technical textiles (paper felts, construction – fibre cement felts). We provide a certificate of yarn quality for each delivery (we have our own laboratory where we test for fineness, strength, twist, ductility, colour fastness, etc.).
We deliver yarns in paper boxes or on europallets according to customer requirements.
